Black-eyed susans, wild lupine, verbena, asters, and milkweed are just some of the prairie restoration flowers on Eighty Acres this summer. This is the second year of the restoration project and it has become one of my favorite areas to hike and enjoy the many butterflies, bees and birds who now call it home. A big thank you to the USDA for helping me make this 14 acre restoration dream a reality.
