The fall equinox, and the Earth Mother celebrated with a breath taking sunset. Today the earth spins in perfect balance giving an equal amount of both darkness and light, and the Earth Mother is signaling that changes are on the way. The bird nests lie empty, the crops are ready for harvest, and we begin the search for that forgotten sweatshirt and jacket. The fall equinox, when all is in balance, all is equal, all is in perfect harmony. Except! The people! Not all are equal. Not all have equal health care. Not all have equal educational opportunities. Not all are safe. Not all have an equal chance. Maybe today we will discover that changes are on the way, and it will be the beginning of the people's equinox.
