Blending In

In order to protect themselves from harm, tree frogs are able to blend in perfectly with their surroundings. So too, many people simply blend in to protect themselves from harm and pain. Their lives are perfectly camouflaged. A chameleon in a crowd. Never finding their voice. Never taking risks. Never noticed. Never vulnerable. Never loved. Never existing. But let us hope that beginning today... never more.
