The hungry skunk appeared under my bird feeder munching on sunflower seeds and bits of suet. A photo opportunity? I cautiously approached the skunk but it was so intent on eating it would not look at me. What to do? Why not get it's attention by tossing a snowball. Bad throw. Missed! My next snowball hit the skunk's nose. Up came it's head. Up came my camera. Click. I quietly backed away. Not my best photo. But... Close enough! Good enough!
