There are over two miles of twisting treelined snowshoe trails on Eighty Acres. Tracks tell me I share the trails with deer, fox, coyotes, turkeys and squirrels. I sometimes bring a thermos of coffee along on my walks. The hot coffee warms my hands, steams my glasses, and for a few moments stops me on the trails. It is in these quiet moments, I listen to the Earth Mother tell me her stories.
