Morning Prayer

Early morning stillness. Coffee cup in hand. I watch the Earth Mother chase the dark away as her sunrise crested the treetops. She dressed in bold colors this morning. Reds, pinks, oranges, blacks and grays. I softly whisper my morning prayer to the Earth Mother and hope that I would celebrate this day through joy, forgiveness, and in someway make the world a better place. Amen.
