The Earth Mother's Icy Necklace

Recently the Earth Mother sent freezing rain to Eighty Acres and sculptured a beautiful icy necklace on the backyard clothesline. The necklace was crafted with the finest colors of sapphires, garnets, emeralds, amethyst and amber. Being somewhat fickle, the Earth Mother wore her necklace for only one day and then the warm sunshine came and quietly dropped the icy colors on the snow below.
