This beautiful growth of toadstools on Eighty Acres reminded me of the mysterious Smurf Village that few people have ever seen. On this day I did not see Hefty, Lazy or Smurfette, but I guess they are shy creatures and do not often show themselves. Due to the large amount of recent rain on Eighty Acres, toadstools are abundant and come in numerous shapes, sizes, colors, and seem to magically appear overnight. Maybe tomorrow I'll get lucky and catch a quick glimpse of a Smurf. Until then, I'll just enjoy the Earth Mother"s marvelous and ever changing gifts to Eighty Acres.
